This project is located in the northern corner of Dongguan City, beside the beautiful Dongjiang River. It is only 12 kilometers away from Dongguan Railway Station and 20 kilometers from the high-speed railway station. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. When designing, the main issue was how to organically connect the newly-built building with the renovated building and integrate them well into the original plot. Through planning techniques, the space and various flow lines were reorganized, and reasonable functional flow lines and functional divisions were designed; the main and secondary entrances of the hospital, as well as the clean and contaminated entrances, were handled well; the architectural function design met the requirements of modern hospitals and achieved a reasonable transformation from an ordinary hospital to an infectious disease specialized hospital; the characteristics of the century-old red building of the hospital were reshaped through design; the large trees and good landscape courtyards within the hospital were preserved as much as possible; the planning fully considered the reserved land for future development.
