Award: Second Prize, 2014 Dongguan Excellent Architectural Design Competition
Project Highlights:
Situated on a hilly site, the design adopts a mountain architecture approach, preserving and utilizing the existing terrain to the greatest extent possible.
By minimizing vegetation disturbance and incorporating corridors, terraces, and stepped landscape platforms, the project creates a diverse and multidimensional spatial experience that harmonizes with the natural slope.
The design achieves a multi-layered greening system, where architecture and landscape form a symbiotic relationship.
It embodies the philosophical ideal of “harmony between man and nature”, offering a poetic int erpretation of how built form can coexist seamlessly with the environment.
